After spending a year at NBC-owned WRC-TV (NBC Washington) as a reporter trainee, Seth Lemon joined WVIT-TV, the NBC O&O in Connecticut, as a reporter in May 2013.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Lemon spent most of his life in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C.
The Howard University graduate started his broadcast career interning for CNN’s "The Situation Room". He worked as a reporter for ABC News’s On Campus program in the fall of 2010. There he reported on general news and sports stories in the Washington area. In January 2011, he began reporting for the NBC "Nightly News" website as a one-man band.
As a White House Correspondents' Association scholar, he joined President & Mrs. Obama at the 2011 Correspondents' Dinner.
From 2007 to 2011, Lemon worked as a student aide in the Executive Office for Immigration Review at the U.S. Department of Justice — a position that allowed him to travel the country and gain insight into the politics of Washington.
Lemon lives in Hartford, Ct. He enjoys traveling, eating and working out.
